An update: I appear to be surviving.

Last doctor's appointment my iron blood level measured 13. Whoohoo! As you might already know, healthy blood iron levels are 12-16. I can feel the difference in my energy level. It feels good.

I lost 6 pounds. I'm still a chubby thing but I'm exercising now and doing my Yoga. I look like I weigh a lot less than I do. It's good to feel that muscle tone coming back.

NOW...I did find an absolutely fantastic site called WomentoWomen.com. Their clinic is located in Maine: Women to Women — Changing women's health — naturally

I read them over, I talked to them and then I chose their personal program. It's basically a vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplement routine along with a book, THE SCHWARZBEIN PRINCIPLE by Diana Schwarzbein, M.D., Nancy Deville and Evelyn Jacob. (Iron supplements are not included--I'm still drinking my Geritol like shots of Whiskey.)

The web site's knowledge data base extensive. If you need help or you're just curious about various issues in regards to women's health, it's worth checking out.

I have been following their program about 3 1/2 months now. I can't recommend it highly enough. It is so good to see that light at the end of the tunnel. Indeed, even though I don't yet feel a 100% and I'm still a good 25 lbs. from what I consider my optimum weight -- I can feel the sunshine.

Sounds great. Both mother and sister have always lots of problems with their ovaries, (please correct my spelling). Iron, and more iron! Fuck anemia!
