Teri, I hope you are feeling better. When you're up to it, post a progress report. Take care.

My local store has disinfectant wipes over by the cart area, and I wipe the handle down, then my hands before shopping. When I get to the car, I use hand sanitizer. Good advice

Gotta disagree Cookie...even a little headache or fever becomes a very big deal in sub-zero temps like we have now. Sweat will do you in here. Clean hands are a huge help tho... Like I was saying, the blueberry tea will help keep your immune system healthy enough to allow you to be exposed, but not succumb. There are germs everywhere, be clean sure...but be healthy as well. Hope you snap out of it soon...

I don't know Irrp. I kinda buy into the whole sick building syndrome. I've worked places where I was sick all the time.

Dear God! How much can a person sneeze and blow their nose before they break some kind of record!?! This is ridiculous! I'm feeling some better. I think the fever is gone - the headache almost is, but the amount of tissue piling up everywhere I go is INSANE!

Maybe something like Gravol for the nausea. Boil some water in a pot, put the pot on a table and put your face slightly over the post and cover your head (and pot) with a towel...basically you're steaming your face...also loosens up flem...Vicks might another option...even dropping some in the hot water.

Most importantly get some rest/sleep. My dad always says to wrap yourself in blanket once your fever breaks...sweat it all out...it's gross but he swears by it.

Hope you feel better soon Teri!!

Meany - you shouldn't kick a girl when she's down.

Okay, so I just took some of that Mucinex. My pharmacist said I could take the "plain" one that has no decongestant. I swear, just driving to the drug store made me all sweaty and shaky. Jeezz, I hope this stuff works.

Sorry, you're still not doing well. The trick for getting Mucinex to work is to drink lots of fluid with it.

Hope you shake this thing soon.

ME TOO! Damn, it's awful. I finally got up 5 am and just sat there and cried. This thing is really getting me down. But yeah, I'm drinking water and diet coke continuously and staying wrapped up and eating chicken soup. If I'd had the energy and courage, I'd have tracked down some blueberry tea too. I'll try just about anything at this point.

Thanks.

I feel for you. I know how frustrating it can be when you can't get rid of something. I had one of those nasty flu like viruses last March and couldn't shake it. It me took forever to get over it. Try to remember you will get better.
