I had Kaiser for a year and was never so outraged by a health care system in my life. If your sick and need to see a specialist in any field there is a three month min. wait to see one. Its the get better on your own or die health care system. On top of that you get a healthy copay and premium. Its an entrusting system. You pay them lots of money and in return they give you give you nothing and charge you more for asking for it. If you complain the put you on the national terrorist list.

I now have Medicare and after finally getting it, I have to say I like it. With everything it costs about 300 a month. I get to see my regular doctor, who by the way says as the system stands now, it will all collapse within the next five years. People say the national health care hasn`t worked in Canada and other places but I say that with an overview of those systems and our advantage of hindsight, we should be able to put together a workable system. I know its hard but that doesn`t mean we shouldn`t do it just because its hard.

I seem to remember the nightmare stories about Kaiser.

With medicare, the docs work for less than minimum wage in some cases, so you're not always getting the best care unless you are lucky enough to get a truly dedicated doctor.

the people who say those single payer plans in other countries don't work are lying..or uniformed because of the wall of propaganda against the idea

and every statistic proves it.

your right...we can put together a workable system. it's the self interest groups that stop it

medicare is the major provider to almost every doctor in this country

sans maybe a plastic surgeon

It is all in the propaganda, talk about Christian responsibility for their neighbor and the Christians start talking about "personal responsibility", basically fuck thy neighbor if the individual is not competitive. What I did not understand is why they were so for denying women abortions - figured it out, they want more sheep to fleece and throw in between themselves and the enemies that they have made.

...... yup they walk in off the streets

Friend of mine had Kaiser, he is dead now.

But his son was in a serious automobile accident, luckily he had a doctor friend who went with him to visit the child. The doctor friend looked at the charts and noticed that the doctors had misdiagnosed the child - kid would have died, think his spleen was ruptured or something along that order.

Legal battles ensued, after that I avoided Kaiser as I had heard other stories but that one was closest to me.

The republicants missed a great opportunity here. With increased abortions, you have an influx of abortion industry. The GOP is supposed to be all about industry, not to mention smaller government.
Not to mention that there's a growth () industry in tummy tumor removal: Stem Cell Research. Another ready-to-boom industry. Both are also easily outsourced as well as being a great way to curb out-of-control minority population increases () !!!
These could then be heavily advertised, thus adding to the advertisement corporations profits. I can see the companies now:

Ca$h for Fetu$
AbortionsRUs

and the ads:

Little Jimmy could've saved Uncle Bob's life. Next time, Acme Stem Cell & Abortion Clinic. No Fetus can Beatus

Nope, it is much better to have millions of extra dependents who may not be wanted and become problems, justifying law enforcement, prisons, TV shows and desperate enough to go to another country to steal their assets and be canon fodder in the name of patriotism......

The abortion industry is way too small a harvest.....
