Bon Appetit, flesh eaters
From crooks and Liars.
Meat company president admits illegal slaughter of cattle. But i'm sure he's the only one. I'm sure all the other meat industry leaders are completely on the up and up. And i also sell real-estate in Florida. |

They're about as dirty as agro-industry letting their crops slip into the food supply unsafe.

I made a fantastic deer chili the other day. I think today I'll make a deer sausage and free-range organic chicken jambalaya. Yum! I love being so much more healthy than these little malnourished vegans.

Again, you're dead wrong as usual. Pestacides and fertilizers [most of which are synthetically produced] and used premarily for crops meant for human consumption all pose huge health risks to tens of millions of people in the U.S. alone. The E-coli outbreaks didn't affect nearly so many. Also, they do more damage to the environment than even industrialized livestock. I've proven this many times and you ran like a whipped dog after. I guess you figure too few around here recall that ass whoopin' you got.

In your mind, a debate is like some triathalon in the ninth circle of hell. A test of ones ability to keep typing even when you've said the same thing 20 thousand times. To keep typing long past the point where anyone cares what you have to say. To keep typing all night and all day if necessary, to type until the all the letters of the keyboard are worn off, to heroically keep typing until your opponent falls over in exhaustion, to keep typing against all odds, when almost all hope is gone and facts are against you and the world seems bleek that anyone anywhere will take anything you have to say seriously you will NEVER stop typing and you'll NEVER surrender. So yes, you're right, you won. I did, eventually stop typing and you didn't and wouldn't ever stop. So congratulations. Hangs head in shame. ![]() |

Gotta love these family reunions
As long as WalMart is willing to buy the cheapest garbage available to sell to their shoppers, these meat co.'s will have a profitable way to dispose of their trash.
Factory farming, whether it be meat, or vegetables, is bad. FF'd meat is bad for humans in a more immediate way. The chemical fertilizers used by large agro farms literally poisens the soil...say nothing of the situations where there is runoff. As well, the ones that use sludge fertilizer from wastewater treatment plants, are poisening consumers much quicker. You guys are both right...now shut up and eat your corned beef and cabbage.

You are wrong on human biology and evolution and you know it. I've explained to you how the last seven million years of ancestors were all omnivores and how human beings raised livestock for food for eleven thousand years. I further explained how the lack of animal based foods are one of the measures of poverty and starvation according to the U.N. and poverty relief organizations. No culture has completely gone without animal based foods in some form, even if it's just bugs.
You've been nothing but wrong on this subject and always will be. That's just how it is.

Make your own decision, but don't just settle on the default position that "you're both wrong and both right." That's not always the case in all arguments. Also, if you don't believe my sources, why don't you believe your own eyes? One thing, i think everyone who sees that video can agree on is that the poor cow was treated with EXTREME cruelty. To sick to walk, she was actually dragged by its snout to her death. How can you see that and not be repulsed? And cruelty is the default position in that industry. The funny thing is, is that if the animal were a dog or cat or horse or, god forbid, a White tiger, people would be up in arms. What weirds me out about meat eaters is that they're ALL animal rights activists about some animals. By far the busiest on topic thread i've ever seen in the old bill maher site concerned a white tiger that was killed in Iraq. There was also an extremely active thread concerning that race horse that had to be put down. Even Heretic. to his credit, is an animal rights activist in his support for the rights of wolves. But what i can't understand is the double standard. As far as i know, a cow or pig is just as capable of feeling pain and emotions as a wolf, a tiger, a dog a cat or horse or wolf. And yet we abide by and support cruelty FAR greater than anything these other unfortunate animals have to suffer through. |
