Some of these things are no better than sugar pills but w/ side effects....

The fact that the rest of the world does not allow this would seem to indicate there is a prob here..............

as you mentioned, we don't have them up here in Canada....but you sometimes see the ads on any stations that come from an American 'feed'.....I often wonder wtf is that drug for....and how bad can it possibly be that you'd put up with the slew of side effects they mention...."may cause impotence, severe stomach pains, loss of sensation in fingers, blahblahblah"..... ..freakin scary!

Worst illegal drug in America?

hey, meth qualifies I would say.

hmmmm.

Boy, if only those big pharma companies could actually tap into THAT market, and actually cash in on the drug war from the other side.
....but nah,....that would be outright evil.

i saw one for an allergy medication. cant remember the name, but it had some animated bee flying around.

the side affects were: a cold, sneezing, aches and pains. arent those the symptoms of many allergies?

If your count our infatuation already with a pill for everything, then combine that with the "invented" problems created by the pharma-industry it's not hard to see why.

They've gotten to the point where they are paying teams of doctors to actually come up with variation on other maladies. These variations miraculously fit exactly what a drug they've invented cures.

Nail fungus.

Irritability.

Hearburn.

to name a few. These doctors are actually allowed to publish in journals, that previously were the bastion of neutrality.

There's more money then you can imagine. I don't drive a new Saturn on my temp pay. It's the wife's income that allows for that.

That's because, as Chris mentioned...the commercials all end w/the words "ask your doctor about...."
