Niacin - recommended by Dr. Floyd - τΏτ
After a recent blood test I was told to take Niacin to increase my "good cholesterol" so I began to take The brand Natural - 500MG No-flush TR (Time Release)...well, I ran out and when I went to the drug store I found the 500MG "Extended Release" by Rugby...didn't think about it that much but after I ate lunch and took one...man, within 20 minutes I was crashed out....
A little research showed why. Check this out: "Niacin is vitamin B-3, one of the water soluble B-complex vitamins. One of niacin's unique properties is its ability to help you naturally relax and get to sleep more rapidly at night. Another niacin feature is its ability to greatly reduce anxiety and depression." Well no shit...and then there's this: "An important point here is that niacin is a vitamin, not a drug. It is not habit forming. Niacin does not require a prescription because it is that safe. It is a nutrient that everyone needs each day. Different people in different circumstances require different amounts of niacin." It works for me... Here's the full article which also covers a "flushing" effect that goes away after a while..no big side effect unless you take too much. DoctorYourself.com - Niacin Saturation Sleep well my little droogies..put away the other synthetic narcotic crap and enjoy...but don't tell anyone, if they find out the drug companies will have the DEA on it...SHHHHHH. ô¿ô |
