The love fest of being American right after September 11 was too sickening even for these folks purposes. Katrina provided opportunity to reset the rift. The treatment of Katrina let it be known that hate and prejudice was okay again, even condoned.

I remember the hypocrisy of the first bush's campaign mantra for "a kinder gentler nation."

If you have watched bushboy jr you will have noticed that he is exactly the kind of sociopathic psychotic sicko that loves to turn everything (especially if it is something daddy did) on its ear.

He thinks its funny and it bites daddy's and mommy's ass. Although after that bush woman's comment after Katrina, she's probably hateful enough to think it is funny too.

The reason why the noose hanging crimes increased is because after Jena it became clear that federal prosecutors weren't going to investigate them, much less bring charges. Instead, they prosecuted those private citizens who beat the shit out of the perpetrators.

What happened in Jena was a disgrace and it gave the message that hanging a noose is just a silly little prank. Boys will be boys sort of bullshit. The students who hung the noose should have been expelled from school at the very least and then charged with a hate crime.

Ditto for all the other morons who have hung nooses.
