Ex-Press Secretary Blames Bush in Leak

As yet another rat jumps ship (while making a buck in the process) one has to wonder how much of BushCo's illegal acts will be discovered in the coming years...

WASHINGTON (Nov. 20) - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.

"There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Tuesday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

I am of the considered...I MIGHT even say INFLEXIBLE, how's that for covering the spectrum?...position that spokespeople who knowingly lie to cover for their high powered, low principled bosses are guilty of a crime against the People.

What is the punishment for criminal lying to the People?

I am reminded of a couple of bumper stickers.

If you read the article he claims to have unknownly passed on the false info.
But I believe the point here is the the Pres and VP commited illegal acts and this should be addressed!!

I had already read this.

It is disgusting.

They are all disgusting.

Many of them are criminals.

And We The People...that would be MY posse...are largely afraid.

This bullshit is seriously undermining my quality of life...liberty and the pursuit of happiness being chief among deteriorating aspects.

I am reminded also of NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.

I am DEFINITELY feeling unrepresented.
