Excerpt

The company that makes the weapons has said that similar deaths have been shown by "medical science and forensic analysis'' to be "attributable to other factors and not the low-energy electrical discharge of the Taser".

Just as proud to be a Canadian. These RCMP assholes should be locked away.

Yeah, I heard about that. Just disgraceful. The guy couldn't speak English and was looking for his mother.

Fucking pathetic it what it is. If these guys were airport rent-a-cops they'd all be up on charges of manslaughter and if it weren't for the video it probably wouldn't have even made the news. Disgusting excuse for human beings.

Welcome to Canada.

What i can't figure out is why didn't they look for an interpreter to communicate with this man?

Because they clearly weren't interested in communicating with the man. Open communication may have reduced their chances of getting to try out those wonderful toys.

It looked like this guy was messing with the chairs....

The cops will use any excuse to play with their toys. In my case they tasered me three times as I was trying to communicate in English, that my girlfriend had a breakdown, that we had spent the night in the hospital and that this was not good for her. I made no violent move against the cops.

Being tasered three times was not as bad as the canister of mace they crammed in my face, damaged the retina in my eye too. After they had taken me down every time I tried to breathe they would pounce and yelling that I was resisting arrest. I was thinking that it would be funny if they killed me through suffocation.

I will never forget the look on those puppies when they tasered me, I looked at them as they zapped me, asked them if they had enough and pulled the damn things out. Two more times.... I wanted that video so bad, damn loser of an attorney.

Lies on the police report, separation of the charges to separate the court rooms on top of the assault and making my girlfriend hitchhike ten miles home while in the throws of a reaction to medication and a breakdown....

This is how CVS and Manassas Va cops "Protect and serve".

Because they now use tasers first instead of using it as a last resort.

The poor guy probably would have calmed on his own if someone had just taken the time to find him an interpreter and maybe if they had approached him in a less threatening way.

No kidding. From the incidents I do not believe that they are bothering to train these "authorities" in how to deal with "situations". Add to that the "demand" for individuals willing to go into this occupation would attract abusive, dominating individuals, add no oversight ..... what do you have.....
