Republican John McCain employed the same tactic a couple of weeks ago en route to his primary win in South Carolina. Former state Democratic Party Chairman Dick Harpootlian is a member of the group that includes former Education Superintendent Inez Tenenbaum and state Representative Bakari Sellers. Harpootlian says his first task is to debunk Bill Clinton's assertion that there's no difference between the stances Hillary Clinton and Obama took on the Iraq War. They have learned the power of truth. Obama, my cherokee brethren, be careful with truth. You have to yourself be shielded from truth, or truth can be used against you. The only shield powerful enough to resist truth is legitimate integrity.

As an agent of truth, the greatest mistake you can make is using truth improperly. When you make this mistake, you diminish your own integrity. This opens your defenses to the devastation truth can bring.

I'm all for this as long as it's meant to counter, I think going on the offensive too strongly can hurt him as it has Hillary. I say go for it and keep fighting the good fight. I don't expect the Hillary supporters to take too well to it, if he's not fighting back he's crying, if he is he's attacking so it's a no winner for them. But for me this is a good move if done in moderation.
