Clinton/Dole I voted Libertarian (and now don't remember his name!), Bush II/Gore I voted for Nader, Bush II/ Kerry I was so sick with the flu (and live in Tx) that I didn't vote, tho it would've been for Nader again.

Now? I'm leaning towards Nixon/Ford.
Well, all i can say is either conserve more or educate the public more...

Btw, have your son pay his own tuition. you may still have to cosign for some loans, but make him work it off. Cheaper that way.
I know what you're saying, but I think that the American consumer is too savvy nowadays. We will want a good alternative, and it's in our iterests as well as a replacement industry for oil and exportability.
If I were Trump, my kid would pay off his college tuition to me.
Nike keeps sending back his application.

With all the new 'green' money being spent by oil corps, with retailers advertising 'green' stores and 'green' products becoming vogue I think the conservation is coming around. The educating the public? Well, I'm doing my part in the limited audiences here and at bars!! Unfortunately, I can't match Exxon's ability to buy SB commerical spots or it's ability to buy any MSM they prefer.

Well, maybe American consumer needs to get off his ass and figure out how to cut silicon wafers thinner, or develop room temp superconductors... That'd speed up things tremendously.

Seriously, think about the kid... It'll do him good, i paid my tuition... Almost paid off now, only $8k left. In 3 months i will be debt free again!

Conscienceless kblair, I call you. Might could have started fresh on this Board but, no sireee, no letting bygones be bygones with a person who has no moral compass. In a thread not titled but reflecting 'Hooray! Welcome! We Found Each Other!,' there was conscienceless kblair, saying she USED to like to read my work, til I went off in "La La Land." In a welcome thread.
Ahaha...I don't even know who you are

Maybe this'll help...I was posting at Bill Maher as litwit? You said that you'd forgotten more philosophy than I'd ever learned? I suggested that you've forgotten more philosophy than is good for your soul or our society? Any of that coming back?

What about when you advised us that, "If you want the big bucks, you have to suffer for it" and I noted that we'd want to be passing THAT message lovingly along to our children? Ring any bells?

Nevermind, the memory goes first. Or, it could be that you speak without thinking, without knowing what you're talking about, and without conviction. Talking shit, that's called.

The important thing is, I know who YOU are.

I don't really remember you, but whoever are, you need to take a Valium cause were just having a little debate. We all have our own perspective on things, I would appreciate you not trying to censor me. If you don't like what I am saying, put me on ignore. Outside of that I'm just having a little fun, its not like anything said here is serious or important. lol.

No dice.

Yeah, I remember that about you, too...said you sometimes like to argue an opposite opinion just for the hell of it. I remember you didn't answer when I asked why the fuck anyone would want to do that?

Hey, if you're havin' fun, fun's as good as fun can be when your country is training and paying people to kill other people.

Why would I care what YOU'D appreciate, when you have declared yourself again and again to be unconcerned about people over profits? And I defy you to substantiate your accusation that I am trying to censor you.

Au contraire.

You spew EXACTLY the kinda shit that befuddles average voters into voting against their own interests. You sling terms and phrases that sound right...hey, they're the same terms we hear on TV. But you're also real big on dismissing some things as too rudimentary to require explanation and shelving others as too complicated for the lay folk who are getting screwed.

First, you cannot recall previous conversations of some depth AND length...over the course of days, last summer, when I was in Georgia and, now, you would dismiss all of our efforts with this, "I'm just having a little fun, its not like anything said here is serious or important. lol."

I disagree completely...with conscienceless kblair, what a shocker. I think there are some very serious and important things being said on these Boards.

Our country's in some fairly deep shit, I expect you've heard...we're trying to see if we can help. Oh, that's right...you claim it's a normal cyclical downturn and that everyone should chill.
