The word on THIS street, which is to say Los Angeles, is that B.S. was can't-open-your-car-door swarmed at a restaurant, she flipped out and left her car where it stood.

B.S. is exactly that, B.S. Who is OBVIOUSLY surrounded by shitty people who are greasing on her American Express.

That said, I think a lotta people would flip out, too, under that kinda scrutiny and interference. I think a lotta people would just run the sons-of-bitches over.

This is like Princess Diana all over again...with a crass American twist, PREDICTABLY. Some "photojournalists" or other are gonna chase that Sicko-read-that-obviously-ill-woman into an accident, and I am here to suggest that those leeches should be charged with murder.

No if's, and's or but's. Full on prosecution with an eye on long prison sentences. Throw the entire fucking book not only at them, but at the "news organizations" they represent.

Remember the collision of the news helicopters? Predictable. Those families should sue...JOHN EDWARDS STYLE...for wrongful death.

I honestly don't know how she managed to stay sane as long as she did. I can't think of anyone, in my lifetime, who has had to put up with this 24/7 media vulture/scrutiny. Just imagine yourself in that position. Unable to afford the slightest screw up, because it would be magnified and spread across the globe within hours.

I'm waiting for some unstable fan of hers who has had enough, to walk into the crowd of paparazzi scum and open up with an AK spraydown.

This display of sensationalism...replete with reference to tax dollars...made Anderson Cooper's keep-em-honest-while-I-flirt-with-Erica show and I wonder whether it would have, had not People been talking about it online.

The tab was $25,000 of taxpayer dollars for the helicopters...presumably quite a bit more for the entire Fanfare Combination Special.

These are the kinds of sums of money that are routinely poo-poo'd as being insignificant in the big picture.

Four of these bits of imbecility equals a hundred thousand dollars, times 10 is a million. This shit goes on all day every day, on thousands of fronts.

We are lazy, throw-more-money-at-it people. I know. I'm RIGHT THERE struggling with the same problem.

America has incorporated...literally, as it happens...phenomenal waste and inefficiency INTO our profit structures. Combined with protectionism, it results in a scarcity of innovation and an abundance of trinket one-ups-man-ship...42 brands of toothpaste, a new non-transferable cell phone every year.

We do not have to re-invent the wheel. We DO need new tires, and realignment.

Small wonder, the way Schwarzegger and Villaigarossa are letting Los Angeles streets deteriorate to Road Warrior caliber. What do Jet Setters care about the roads of the proletariat?
