Well... he didn't exactly give up. He was pushed out, that much is clear. Being part of the extreme right wing is one thing, but trying to fake it is another altogether. The smear'n'fear rats will sniff out anything they can to use on a candidate from either party.

I read something about his kids getting pissed that he was spending so much of "their" money.
