You know, all of these little things in and of themselves seem innocent enough (we're protecting you from the bad guys, go about your business).

But when you look at all of the shit as a whole..

from the Bush law that gives him supreme power if we're attacked again, to the hired thugs roaming arab countries with impunity in our name, to ..now a secretive domestic arm of the FBI that employs Americans to keep an eye on their neighbors.....

I hope I'm wrong, and I'm no conspiracy nut,...but this all sure smells like a set-up. If we are attacked again, lets just keep an eye on who makes a profit.

This stinks like yesterday's diapers.

You know what scares the shit out of me?

(purely hypothetical, please)
Obama wins the nomination, and is neck and neck with Mccain, and then "BOOM". Some fucked up attack with lots of shock value like 9/11 before the end of the year.

What happens then? I think it's obvious that the current administration would enact all of the laws theyve written should such an attack occur. ..And they've shown a tendency to take advantage of shock value to get their way.

If elected, in that case, do GW + Co just hand over the reigns to Obama as scheduled? I sure hope so.
