Most assuredly. A lot of the Patriot Act was stuff the gov't was doing in drug cases, like "sneak and peek" and other dirty tricks werer all ok'd for drug enforcement reasons. for instance do you know that if a cop finds a gun on you in a murder case, but the search was illegal, that gun gets thrown out as evidence. Buuuuuutttt , if it a drug case, courts have upheld the evidence. But you see back in 80s when alot of this shit happened it was against "drug dealers' so no one cared. Made it real easy to argue that they can do it now to everyone.

Not been to any in a long time but sure if you are not aware of what is going on you certainly shouldn't have any issues........

But I would say that those that are aware should have some issues.... I am not advocating a texas chain gang but certainly a little something is in order for those playing........

It is always annoying when drug cases are a higher priority than murder ones.

I guess they could suspend the license for a few days or so... Just to make sure management knows who is dancing next time... But otherwise, the only guilty party are the smugglers. Proving who tipped her and who didn't would be difficult. And it's certainly not other dancers' fault. Not all of them know each other all that well (shift changes etc)

You guys.... sheesh.

A lot of speculation going on here trying to find who qualifies for arrest but I don't believe anyone here seen this girl or know enough of the circumstances to make a judgment. What this thread reminds me of is what happens when a bunch of ingnorant legislatures sit down to figure out how to write a law about a subject they know nothing about.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend anyone involved, but to me it seems like this thread is not much more than mental masterbation.

I chose the two quotes above because of a bit of personal experience. I was 19 or 20 out with a couple friends on our motorcycles we stopped to get something to eat. The waitress was a cutey... tall, great shape and unbelievable breastesses.

I flirt with her and as she was getting off work I offered her a ride home which she excepted. I dropped her off and made a date with her for the next weekend. I arrive for the date and meet her father, he's seems like the stereotypical over protective father that informs me what he'll do with a shotgun to my bike if I bring her home late. No prob dad.

After the date, home on time, we're sitting on her front steps and she has something to tell me. What I ask? She says I'm going to be mad and not want to see her again. I say don't be silly, what is it?

I'm only thirteen.

She looked and acted 18-19, she was built like she was 23, she was working, and why the hell did her father even LET me take her out at that age? I was totally fooled. I would be willing to bet this 12 yr old in Texas was along the same line.

It was the responsibility of the club owners to make sure any dancer working there was licensed. It's not like someone can just walk into a strip club and start working the place. There's a floor fee, and credit card sales which are handled through the club.

Holding the patrons or employees responsible could set a dangerous precedent, and could be used to shut down clubs for other legal transgressions. Those who would like to shut down all the clubs would love to have such ammunition. I'm sure they are already pointing to this as an example of how all strip clubs are havens of drugs, kidnapping and child sexual abuse.
