+3000 Tibetians living in Europe came to Paris to protest.

This is a matter of life and death to them.

Find it more disturbing the cameraman was knocked unconscious while he was trying to do his job.

It's thanks to ppl like him that we have news footage such as this.

No one is listening to politely worded properly delivered grievances. They don't give a shit.

Many parents have I heard say they might could kill a person who molested their child. Many, many parents have I heard say they could kill.

To what, then, would a parent resort if his/her whole family was starving or persecuted unto death?

The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

When the words that would register upon the globe's awareness the suffering that occurs half a world and sometimes half a mile away fall on deaf ears, what else can the people do? People are starving, and America still destroys crops rather than ship them. What would YOU do?

Largely, OVERWHELMINGLY, people suffer at the starvation level because of greed.

Interrupting business, interfering with profit, and violence...of what else does anyone take note?

You do realize that if it was a peaceful protest, one in say a handicapped girl isn't being mugged, there would not have been the need for the police to break up a riotous atmosphere. The news footage still did show just how shameful and cowardly these violent protestors acted.

I seemed to have taken note when Anonymous staged simultaneous peaceful demonstrations at Scientology centers around the world, didn't you? They are using the internet to spread the word, not violence. And to the point, they are taking their message straight to the people they want to change. They are not attacking innocents in any way.

Agreed that it is unfortunate about the violent protestors.

However, ex-pat Tibetians are watching as their contry and culture are being annihilated. One can understand their desperation.

There were many peaceful protests through-out Paris that day, too.
The riot police (CRS) dispersed the pro-Tibet crowd in front of the National Assembly (parliament) leaving the Chinese supporters. But representatives of all political parties came out of the Chamber to the top of the walls of the Nat Assem showing suppport for the Tibetian supporters with flags, banners, etc.

This is just total passive aggressive bullshit. Nobody, but China, has said not to protest. As for me, I have said go ahead and protest, but do it right. Because right now, the message is muddled and the message is not getting through.
