Some?

It'd just be nice if they'd kill each other off entirely.

Tehran, Iran (AHN) - Iran dismissed the possibility of sabotage in southern Iranian mosque blast that left at least 12 people and injured 202 others, according to the local officials on Sunday.

Initial reports indicated that the explosion was caused by a homemade bomb at a Shiraz mosque, while other reports speculated that the cause of the blast could be due to the careless handling for live arms inside the mosque.

The blast ripped through a Shiite Muslim mosque as hundreds of worshipers were gathered on late Saturday during a weekly speech by a controversial cleric, Mohammed Anjivinejad, who is a known critic mainly of Wahhabi Islam leading Sunni extremists.

However, authorities including Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini warned on Sunday to avoid speculating over the cause of the blast as Iranian officials were still conducting an investigation of the incident.

Yeah, that can happen. I remember when I was an alterboy at St Vincents, every Sunday morning they'd send me down to the church basement to stack the nitroglycerin and C-4 on top of the black powder to make room for the Bingo game after mass. Father Lenard used to sneak down there to smoke weed, I can't tell you how many times he almost blew the hell out of that place.

Apparently there was an Iraq-Iran War festival near the Mosque and someone possibly forgot to properly store the live munitions used.

That said, there is still a possibility that it was a terror attack made to look like an accident. That was alot of explosives to be left just lying around. Id start looking at the people who had access to the weapons used in the festival as suspects.

See, that's where the Christens fall down. We never have cool things like War Festivals or live munitions lying around. They complain about dwindling attendance, just give people access to weapons during that next bake sale.

Seems like fighting al Qaeda in Iraq and elsewhere is in the best interests of Iran and the United States. Who knew.
Don't tell john mcbush about this. He will have to edit all his material....

This story serves as a reminder that Al Qaeda and the Shi'te clerics who run Iran are diametrically opposed, despite the confused statements of the doddering old fool McCain and the nuts in the American far right who'd have us believe that all Muslims are alike.
