Likely the Crazy Raspberry Ants went after the fire ants b the latter were suppose to take over North America but slacked off, content with fuckin' around in Texas.

Ant's pure communism is a wonderful thing to watch in action.

It's noted that if they didn't fight among themselves, they'd be able to take over the world seeing as if you had the total weight of all humans and measure it against the total weight of all ants, ants win.

They're a chemical democracy actually. Ants leave pherophomes based on their individual findings and decisions which influences the behavior of other ants, and when they reach a threhold of a given pheromone the whole colony has effectively found consensus.

A lot of ant species have taken over their corners of the world. Many larger animals have been driven away by ants. The Siafu in Kenya are said to have driven elephants from the forest by biting at their ears and the skin inside their trunks.
