They mentioned a neck injury, so that could be the surgery. No fun, that's for sure. I fractured my C6 in a car accident once, fortunately I didn't need surgery...

Regarding Morgan's injuries - "Morgan has a broken arm, elbow and has minor shoulder damage but was in good spirits when I spoke with him a short time ago at the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center at The MED, a Level 1 Trauma Center at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis.

He is having a little bit of surgery this afternoon or tomorrow to help correct the damage. He says he'll be OK and is looking forward to a full recovery."

he probably smashed the heck out of his bones and they need reconstructive surgery to repair it...i'm curious as to what the "other fractures" are though:

could be vertabrae which is why they keep him listed in serious condition...my step brother had a wreck fairly similar many years ago only he didn't flip the car, just launched it off an embankment about 50 or so feet, when it landed his seatbelt snapped his back; he had numerous surgeries and was in the hospital for months...i wonder if it's something like that...

i'm just glad it's not considered life threatening!
