Ah fuck.

This shoud never have been disclosed. If they can be found once they can be found again. And that's not great at all.

EDIT:

And the dumb asses give precise directions. Might as well hand out maps to fuckers with weapons.

Yes she did......it would be good if the location was not included though. Is gorillo mom okay - or just left the board?

First of all since when is 100,000 rare?

Secondly, they must know that there are a lot of evil fuckers out there who love to kill just for the sake of killing. Why they disclosed the location is beyond me unless they want them to be hunted.

I think that's the point, 100,000 kinda takes them off the 'rare' list. Now with that many, I wonder if there will be a supposed 'need' to cull the numbers and a new hunting vaction package is born.

They should have just put bells on them to make them easier to find.

They said in the article they were looking for donors to raise money to protect the gorillas,( I guess that means anti-poachers) It might have been difficult to keep something like this under the radar.

A hunter found the gorillas...so maybe others would have too, before they were able to organize and get them some protection.

I am trying to look on the bright side

In any case it's amazing...100,000! they only thought 50,000 existed

Tonight's national news puts the numbers at 81,000 found, making the total 100,000.

Roughly 30,000 acres of where they were found is protected. So that's probably why this population was able to seclude itself away.

And hunters find everything, bodies, plane crashes, fossils, fresh water etc etc. That and hikers, but there's not a lot of recreational walking around the woods it those parts.
