He is truly a sleazebag.

You should breathe a sigh of relief he wasn't the nominee.
I doubt Elizabeth Edwards gets drug into anything...she's her own woman...he might of told her about the affair along time ago, you don't know shit.

as far as character goes...your repukes are the biggest bunch of lying cheating stealing corporate whores this county has ever known.

give me a f'n break

interesting how you showed up to this thread after getting owned on every piece of garbage you tried to post here.

You don't have the talent or compassion in your entire being that Edwards possesses in a finger

have a nice day

Yes, he demonstrated his character channeling the voices of dead babies into the courtroom. He showed his character by alluding that if John Kerry were elected, the disabled would get up and walk. Allowing his wife on chemo to travel across the nation to campaign for him while he is busy knocking up someone else only confirms the already obvious.

He is the scum of the earth. Lower than plankton.

Have a good one.

I won't even remotely agree with this one. He's done a lot of good for the lower and middle class in this country. The real plankton are those who do everything possible to inhibit free will and believe that keeping the rich people rich by giving them all the breaks in the world while the little people are taxed to high hell will benefit them.

Here I thought you were speaking strictly about Edwards' act of infidelity but now I see you have a personal vendetta.

Perhaps you should read the post I was responding to. If someone personally attacks my character without provocation, it seems perfectly justifiable for me to bolster the case that John Edwards has none.

If people with differing views are forbidden to defend themselves here, then please make that clear.

I never said that nor even implied it so relax. The difference here is that those who actually support him show real feelings of disdain towards a person who is respected. When a republican comes in to use it just to bash him because he's a dem there's a big difference. State your piece, by all means it just won't hold any weight amongst his genuine supporters.

The difference is, I bashed him on nothing besides today's events until it got personal. If you expect me to agree with unwarranted personal comments against me, then I don't know what to say.

This is disappointing, but not nearly so disappointing as George and all the people he has f*cked. Keep it in perspective.

Right on. What the hell ever happened to marrying the woman you love, then remaining true to her? Is it that hard to be faithful to the woman you're married to? If you have fallen out of love with your wife, divorce her before defiling the marrige.

sounds like elizabeth knew about it, but wasn't that concerned enough to leave him.

One thing I've learned ( even though I am single) is never try to figure out/judge what goes on inside a marriage.
It's their marriage - their buisness.

Politically he is dead though, and would have been even a bigger scandel than Clinton if he was the nominee.
