That's always been the case though. What I don't understand is why these people can't just keep it in their goddamned pants. Elizabeth is a very pretty woman, some people just can't be satisfied.

It's not so much that he had an affair ('cause, like, really, who the hell cares), it's the lying and the misrepresentation of himself as a great family man.

It is a statement about his character highlighted by the fact his wife was newly diagnosed with cancer and he chose to drag her cross-country --during chemotherapy-- to campaign for him.

He is truly a sleazebag.

You should breathe a sigh of relief he wasn't the nominee.

I have to agree. As much as I have always really liked him this shows very low character and Elizabeth deserved better.

Whats bad about it, and as dishonest as the affair, is that people, and institutions donated money to his campaign..people worked for his campaign, and he was carrying a serious piece of baggage that would have surely sunk his chances for Pres had he been the Democratic nominee..And would have gave McCain the edge to become the next Pres..We cannot afford a McCain Admin..This is a very critical time in our country's history..If the negative Obama ads are bad..Imagine the Edwards ads that would be running now?

This would have been a terrible let down for those of us who want something better than what we've had the past eight years
