Just click on resize above the image in photobucket and pick "message board" size.

BTW, great pics everyone. Peacocks are so amazing and strange. Little bird with all those spectacular feathers.

Thanks Teri. Let me see if I got it right. Ever have a gorilla right in your face?

Her name is "Jumoke" and she just had this "Grinch" look on her face.

Miami is full of peacocks - especially so in the southern part of the county - my father-in-law lives in an adult community, and it is full of them - during their mating season they are noisy as hell, and all over - fun to watch them, tho - and very beautiful (when the males shed the long feathers, my father-in-law picks them up and saves them for me - they're pretty neat in vases!

That was one thing I hated about working at the zoo. The kids were always chasing the peacocks trying to pull their feathers out. You don't know how bad I wanted to pull and yank on their parents hair to let them know what the peacocks feel their kids doing to them.

Some parents are just clueless - maybe we should chase their kids and pull their hair out -

I love these peacock photos, you guys. I think their shade of blue is the most beautiful color there is. It would be heavenly to live in a place where you could see them every day.

We had 2 albino Peacocks at the zoo but they both died because of human interaction. One got hit by one of the zoo employees driving the truck delivering food. He didn't see him in the dark. Early morning.
