Experiment with light box tent
I followed these instructions on how to build a cheap light box, I think the whole thing was under $30 including the lamps and bulbs http://www.pbase.com/wlhuber/light_box_light_tent
Here is one of the shots I got with it, this is a great way to get product type photos or something you may want to sell on ebay, etc. ![]()

I was thinking anything more than free was too expensive for this setup...
If you don't already have a folding card table, borrow one. If you can't borrow one, take a slat or two out of your expandable kitchen table leaving the top open, then throw a couple sheets over that. Then how difficult can it be to tape some colored sheets or construction paper, to the bottom of the table as a backdrop? If you'd like something, you can use fairly often, get your hands on one of those folding card table, laying on the side of the road in someone's trash, rip a hole in the middle of the top, if someone hasn't already done so, then buy some nasty old sheets to cover it up with from AmVets. Maybe splurge and pick up a spray can of white Rustolium. Now you'll own something that you can fold up and throw out into the garage, until you need it again in about a million years! |

Guess I missed this thread the first time around.
