Beatiful flower piccys. Love em all. The only one I´m familiar with is with the almond tree, lots of those around here. My Jasmine is full of flowers already and boy they smell great. If you pick them during the day time while still closed, put a bunch on a moistered paper towel over some dish, they blossom in the evening and leave a perfect scent inside home.

ah...they look very similar, though in a side by side comparison i can see the difference in the petals...

i'm not familiar enough with the names of flowers, so i went with what i thought looked familiar...thank you for the correction

hmmm, probably why i've never seen a multi-coloured one?

In Florida Lantana actually grows wild, and the berries it makes are toxic. I've seen it sold in nurseries. The hydrangea flowers are much larger, and so are it's leaves.

The cool thing about hydrangeas is how you can choose what color the flowers will be. Make the soil around it acid and have pink flowers, or make the soil alkaline and have blue flowers. Now that's fun, lol.

oooo, i'm gonna have to try that...the only flowers i ever (try to) grow are hydrangeas and stargazer lillies, my absolute, all time favourite....

once though, i did this experiment with sapling dogwood trees where i took two trees, with different coloured blooms, a red and pink, peeled their bark near the bottom, wrapped them with pantyhose and planted them together...as they grew, they fused together and i had some spectacular reddish, pinkish, white blooms that my neighbours used to love...
