Oh that's great!! You're a godmother

Here's Ref

Ref at four days old, lol.

Man, these Luna Moths are not an easy project. After hatching on the 24th 95% of them just died. (And I made sure conditions were spot on according to everything I read on raising them.) The 5% then mostly died within two days, and I have maybe 6 left that are actually growing. The two small ones in the pic are dead...I left them for comparison.

Well, it was just meant to be..only the strong survive. But what a cutie that one is that did survive. Thank goodness the one you named after me isn't one of the dead ones!

Maybe it´s due to that plastic tupperware? I don´t know. I raised a bunch of ´gusanos de seda´(can´t remember how it´s spelled in english, my bad) in plain shoe boxes. Toilet tissues and morera (White mulberry?) leafs. The only thing they ate. And man they liked it.

These lil jokers scale the sides of the tupperware like there's no tomorrow. I can't imagine them in a shoe box, lol. They're 1/2" now, and starting to exhibit some sort of torpor like state. This is too small for a cocoon yet, so I'm guessing it's another growth spurt?

I am SO out of my element here.
