Hmmm...I tried, but couldn't get all that under "properties"

I see the white balance was auto, but it seems that the second pic had white balance issues.

I tried right clicking like you suggested to get to properties but I couldn't get that info either. I just opened the pic in Picasa ...I think I'll host on Photobucket next time.

On your own computer, with your pics, I would think you could have gotten the properties easily.

I found this info on the net about viewing the EXIF data on .jpg files if that data hasn't been stripped off.

The EXIF data is all the technical settings that your camera used when the picture was taken.

I HAVEN'T TRIED THIS YET.

I got most of what you got from regular properties and Photoshop (flash info).

Yes, but I was just trying to find a browser plugin instead of using an outside program.

At home, I use the Olympus Master software that came with my camera to organize my photos (organize is a loosely defined term for me LOL).

That program gives me the info at home.

Photoshop is really overkill for me but I've started trying to learn how to use Gimp. It's freeware that does all of the basic editing but also supports layers.

funny, I was going to check it out, but decided not to....

What do you mean "supporting layers"?

I've been using picasa, but lately I'm not happy w/the way it shrinks my files.

Have you used Photoshop? Same thing. If not, basically you can add layer to the image - for example if you wanted to add text to the image, you would add a layer for the text. Hope that makes sense.

Hmmm...Picasa is one of the few that don't shrink. Are you sure it's not a setting or something?
