I can honestly admit that it is tempting to want one of these...I always opted for the wolf type dogs, whenever I adopted one.

I can list the reasons why I shouldn't encourage them to stay around, but man...they are so beautiful, and these youngsters make me melt!

I might go see if they want a little breakfast!

I just knew they were gray fox..here's some interesting info on them. The father helps feed them and they don't always make it in the wild Gray Fox (DesertUSA)

I love those pics!! I must have missed them on the R-board.
From now on...remember a gray fox has a black tip on its tail, and a red fox has a white one. Red fox fight and often win because red fox are bigger than the gray. Are you sure the 'mommy' isn't really the 'daddy'?

EDIT: Never mind, I saw titties
Does Mom have enough to eat too?

Those aren't my pics...I showed my buddy my first pics, where the baby was in my trap. I told him you said it was a gray fox. He was skeptical, so I googled "gray fox babies"...and got that link...

The next day, (yesterday), I noticed the little bugger spying on me as I was watering my flower beds. I took the trap away, and lured them out with food.

The gray fox look nothing like the red...he thought mine was red because of the red on the face...I showed him that link, and now I can show him my pics.

I wish I had a video camera, cause they're probably going to get used to the morning feedings...I've been keeping my eye out for fresh roadkill to leave for mama to find.

That would be awesome for you to have a video camera. Maybe you could borrow or rent one. Does your camera have a video option?

One of the benefits of spending damn near $1000.00 on a camera, is that it doesn't "do" video...

You would love a video. If you look at this pic...

The kit on the left is growling at the one on the right. I believe it is his sister, and she was just finding out that brother had something going on outside...

How could you not just fall in love with them? They are so cute. And I read they really keep the rodent population down. The only thing wrong is they will climb a tree (the only type fox who do) to kill their prey which includes birds.
