Finally a bunch of freaks picked my up and we partied.
That was a heavy duty trip - literally
I've seen Floyd several times, but the last was the best. My son and I went to the Division Bell tour in Tampa. Gilmore's guitar solo on Comfortably Numb lasted over 8 mins while the stadium was being showered in a bath of light zings created by this huge multi mirrored disco ball in the air. (That thing was HUGE...we were sitting beneath it.)

Oh, and of course they had pigs flying over the crowd when they played Pigs on the Wing. *G*

The first time I was ever tear-gassed in my life was at Red Rocks at a Jethro Tull show...at the tender young age of 14, what a blast! Saw Pink Floyd on the "Division Bell" tour at Mile High Stadium, we watched the pigs too! Great show...

Hey Cosmic, I DID get to see Tom Petty back in 2000/2001. Also got to see Bob Dylan who came with Bonnie Raitt a few weeks after or a few weeks before. Can't quite remember the order. I worked at Riverbend for two seasons so for every one good concert I had to watch three or four mediocre ones.

Heh, heh...I lived in Hogtown (Gainesville) for years, and I watched Tom jam in local bars before they really got it together. Another band that lived in the area (I lived between G'ville and Jax) was the original Lynard Skynard. They lived on a farm about 20 mins from where I was on Lake Geneva.

Gawddd I am olllld.
