I don't like exclusive clubs, and I'd be shocked if either of you, Wayside and Dsolo, would either. In fact, disregarding people because of their race, religion, political affiliation, or shoe size for that matter, is one of those things that gets me downright pissy. You?

It's just a statement as to what this site is about, not meant to be a one or the other type of thing. Try not to read too much into it.

I won't, but it is...as you said...a "statement." Statements differ from suggestions in that they hold well defined beliefs.

I would like to think that we are a little more open minded than that type of group here, not making so many personal slams.

I can see this is bothering some so I just yanked that part of it, that's how much I really care about it. Again, look at what we've been doing since this site's started, that is the general outline of what we are after. People asked for rules, so I posted some up and I agree the whole Democratic thing may have been a bit much but come one. What's left will stand and no more editing will be done.

Thanks very much. Dsolo and I are in the legal field and words have a lot of meaning to us. Everything else seems perfectly, completely, reasonable and correct, and obviously written by someone of great wisdom and intellect, and handsome too, and I'm sure he smells really nice as well.

Not a moot point to me.

Eric addressed an important issue and I thank him for it. By the way, the meaning of words is not just important to those in the legal profession. Some of us lay people actually place some value in them also.

I didn't write it, I copied and pasted it from another political forum that I hang at. I just modified it a bit, so they are the one's with all the intelect, I am just a plaguerizer who doesn't really read into all the little statements and neither do the millions of members on their site who ignore that part of it.
