You know I don't like that label. Let's call them what they are, ignorant. Ignorant of the issues. Ignorant of the candidates. Ignorant like kevin james.

If more people were informed, "Ignorant like Kevin James" would become a common expression, like "Dumb as a bag of hammers."

It's simple, a hammer is a dense solid object. It is capable of one, maybe, two functions. ifso facto, a bag of them would not increase either their functionality, nor lessen their collective denseness. Therefore, being as "dumb as a bag of hammers" is infinitely more dumb than a singular hammer on its own.

Ok, that's all bullshit I made up. I'm stoned and the game doesn't start for 2.5 hours.

forward-thinking

Heh. You guys are priceless.

John Edwards is precisely the kind of bland, insipid democrat that lost us the election in 2000 and 2004.

At least the ol' donkeys finally figured out that you've got to put a guy with a little charisma and some cajones up on the podium. No thanks to Mrs. Bill.

If John Edwards had really wanted to lend his support in any meaningful way, he would have endorsed Obama (with whom he is ideologically more similar) long ago and possibly helped prevent this unending catastrophe that is the race for the Democratic nomination. You know....unite the party and all that.

His announcement now was no less than expected and no more helpful than a spit in the sand.

rarify your hammer

Ah, you see but herein lies the rub. Density is not a function of quantity. The density of one hammer does not change when placed in the vicinity of many others. Collective density can't really be measured simply because one ridiculous hammer is placed in the company of many. It only creates the illusion of one's density appearing quite normal, despite retaining molecules close enough to cause a blood clot. Ifso[sic] facto, it may be hard to recognize one's own relative density while in the company of other hammers which retain the exact same properties.

au contraire, I never stated that density was a function of a hammer, it is a property, which allows a functionality of purpose. For what else you write, it sounds as if you have experience with ridiculousness and blood clots. Perhaps that caused the confusion? Or you just didn't recognize the density of your hammer?
