Even if Adam and Eve had the free will to go against God, the only two ways they would opt to do so would be if:

A. they were imperfect and therefore capable of mistakes, or
2. they were perfect and rebelling againsy God was not a mistake.

Because if perfection is no proof against errors in judgement, then God can make mistakes too.

Man created Steve?

I think we might be confused here. God created Steve, man named him Steve. God didn't know it was Steve because man hadn't named him yet. So, you see God in his heart was simply creating one soul that would love another soul and man fucked it up by naming him Steve instead of Louise.

Got that?

How does eman explain the discrepency in Genesis? God creates man and woman, then it says God created Adam, then used Adam's rib to create Eve...

You confuse yourself because you make yourself a god in opposition to the way THE God did it.

They were perfect and perfectly chose to sin against God. Case closed. And they died and so do all of their progeny.
