Doesn't this constant in their existence preclude freewill?
Yet even Klaatu and all on his planet were subject to the policing action of Gort. And as you said, others beyond their own planet. So they gave Gort free will to judge good and evil.

There is no need to disprove your points about Gort's free will. you made no pints about Gort's free will. Gort is a robot. A machine. It has programmed responses to command protocols. Nothing in your fantasy changes this. Even in Klaatu's description of Gort's functions, there in nothing about Gort having likes, dislikes, opinions. Just responding to specific inputs according to its programming. Gort is not a person. Gort is a tool. A hammer. A toaster oven on legs. Moreover, Gort is entirely fictional. Much like you faith in your imaginary god.

Nope. If they had given Gort free will, then Gort could decide not to police Klaatu's people. Instead, Gort (and the other robot police) were given instructions, programming them to respond to specific actions in precise and measured ways. They cannot judge good and evil. They do not understand good nor evil. They simply restrict prohibited behaviors with no understanding or concern about what the motivation for the behaviors might be or even why the behaviors are prohibited.

Not that I blame you for refusing to comprehend this. You cannot help the way you are programmed.

Shamne on you for trying to use Gort to deny God. You are truly desperate yet a true disciple of the Father of the Lie.

Gort was programmed to have free will just as we were. God programmed us and the scientists of Klaatu's planet programmed Gort. He would HAVE to have free will to distinguis the nuances of good and evil. For instance, what would be the determining factor of vaporizing his home planet. I am sure some list of items would be programmed but at the end of the day it would be a judgment call. Judgement implies free will. Executing judgment is the exercise of free will. So if the list was 1) perceived threat of a global nuclear war on a neighboring planet, 2) global depravity that threatened the existence of one's own planet (think the Great Flood on Earth), 3) invasion of one planet by another, 4) nuclear strike of a city by one planet upon another. Well you get the idea. There could be a threat of such action and Gort and his colleagues would have to make the judgment call. A free will decision that would be more than the sum of his artificial intelligence programming.

Gort and company WOULD be judging good and evil based on the indicators programmed into their artificial intelligence 'brains.' Just as Gort made decisions while on Earth. He vaporized soldiers who threatened him. He would have made the decision to destroy the earth if the woman had not spoken the words Klaatu Barada Nickto to gain his 'confidence.' And then leading him to Klaatu so that Gort could resurrect him from death.

Gort policed his universe just as I police the various boards. Assuring that Satanic forces are kept under control.

It's reassuring to know that God's got such a powerful ally since he's obviously in need of such. How the almighty creator of everything would get by without people like you is a mystery. You must be very proud of your accomplishments. I would be.

I am extremely proud of representing God's views and proving his existence to those who doubt or do not believe. It is a great honor. And because you noticed I will tell you a secret. I am a superhero and now you know HOW I accomplish the things I do.
