Hey E, fun and games aside, are you going to complain to the board about the availability of this icon?

I have already in my posts. Cookie and I agreed to oppose it and she has complained. But I do not expect a response because it IS their board. And I do not have to come here. I accept that. And I have the perfect right to express that it offends me.

That's an aweful lot of hate. Maybe Delilah would have worked for you Sampson.

The trick is finding one that I feel both that much love AND that much hate for. Finding one that I feel that much love for is easy. Finding one I hate that much is harder. But it would be easier than finding one I hate enough to introduce her to you

You are like many professional lady friends I have right now who never married. The wanted perfection though they are quite imperfect. You have established parameters that cannot be met.

There's no soulmate, there's no "perfect match". There's only finding another person who is willing to go through life with you.

All the lovey dovey crappola and sexual escapades have little to do with a successful relationship. Whether the couple be married or not, gay or hetro, or both and neither of the previous.

People stumble around and bump into each other all the time, some dedicate themselves to another and each other, sometimes it works , and sometimes it doesn't.

It's a hit or miss proposition at best.

The only thing that has to happen in a relationship is forgiveness and tolerance to make it successful. It's the things that make you different that will eventually drive you apart. Nothing actually keeps a relationship together, it's not making it come apart that is the key.

Because no two people are made for one another. We are individuals and keeping a certain individuality in a relationship is important. You can't lose the feeling of "self" and meld 2 into 1, it simply doesn't work that way. And since the other party has to do the same, that's were forgiveness and tolerance comes in.

I agree with your point about forgiveness and tolerance. But two people also become one to the extent that they are willing to forgive each others trespasses and tolerate each others humanity. That IS becoming one. I think God created marriage as a way to train humans to really learn to get along with each other. For there will be no marriage after the Ressurection.

And there are so many temptations and distractions in the modern world. Probably most of which is the need for women to leave the home and perform in the workplace. This really puts a burden on children who should be raised by their own parents. But we ARE in the Devil's system right now so I am surprised that ANY marriage works.

Love can change a person. It's really about being unselfish...you love that person so much that you want to do things to please them, and it's a joy, not a chore.

Why are you so down on yourself? Do you feel somehow you are unworthy of love? I hope you aren't basing this on the way your parents treated you or something, because if they weren't loving, that's their problem, not yours.

Listen to Cookie. She has good advice for you. I have strong love. Godly man love not that other type. Your failed suicide attempt does not count as a resurrection. You equate your failure with God and God has never failed. He WILL Resurrect all the dead (except Adam, Eve, Sampson, Satan and the third of the angels that rebelled.
