You asked what was thought. I said what I think. Sorry you find my thoughts offensive. I really don't care. I would suggest though that you might want to think twice before you ask for thoughts if you're going to be such a shit when people say them.

You appeared to be going off the deep end, and I said as much. You seemed to be aiming to make the argument against God, when the point of this thread is to find the middle ground.

But the question still remains, if there is no way of knowing one way or the other if God does or does not exist, why can't the two extremes find common ground?

I'm agnostic precisely because I don't think there is a way to know whether or not God exists.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"*. Which can be morphed to mean "Just because we don't understand how something happens it doesn't mean it was god."

On the flip side, if god could do anything then it could make something appear to be natural so how would we know it wasn't?

I'm not sure if you really need the extremes to meet, what you want instead is to make the middle group bigger to the point that the extremes have little influence.

Well we don't know that it isn't true. We don't know that it is true. Thereby hangs the tale. People who claim they know if it's true or false are the people you have to watch out for.

Actually, my "argument" was that the "proofs" provided in the article you linked to are ancient garbage. Go read some Locke or Hume.

As to seeking the middle ground. Won't work. You can't find a middle ground if you object every time someone criticizes what you're claiming.

Did you even read the paragraph before the link??? I know the website in question is VERY questionable. You appear to really want argument for arguments sake. That is my opinion.
