Yet you fail again at denying that your faith is nothing more than the belief in the written word of man.

Yet you do too. You rely on human scientists and their writings to justify your belief. Why can't I do the same. These men wrote God's wishes under his inspired influence. The knowledge in what they wrote and the wisdom of what they wrote is clearly from the inspiration of God. It is why the Bible is SUCH A VERY SPECIAL BOOK THE INFLUENCES AND INSPIRES BILLIONS.

No single science book has ever or will ever match it.

Bullshit. Justice can never involve punishing anybody but the guilty party. The minute God allows anybody, even his own son, to substitute for the actual guilty parties, he ceases to be just.

Proven by the "written" word of man in a centuries old book.

These true believers, believe in nothing more than the written word of man.
With the exception of the carpenter part, this is the same story of Krisna which predates jesus by at least two thousand years. Krisna, christ...hum...I wonder if there's a correlation? I think we're dealing with a tall-tale here, folks.

Philosophić Naturalis Principia Mathematica. How many people's lives have been impacted by the words Newton laid down here? How many other scientists built upon that work, the wonders of the modern world to make? How many people were affected by the single equation E=mc^2? Certainly a lot at Hiroshima. I wonder... If you burned every Bible (of every faith) ever printed, would you release as much energy as a single atom bomb?

BTW, non-christians handily outnumber christians on this planet. So thinking you're in the right because the numbers are on your side is hubris to the point of folly. Aside from simply being wrong.

If the Bible gives someone hope, why try to tear that hope away by claiming it is a tall tale? Same with Jesus.
Just because it's something you don't believe doesn't mean it's wrong. And I am fully aware that simply because I believe it, it doesn't make it right. But why try to rip away a persons beliefs simply because you don't believe the same way?

By that reasoning, we should never tell kids that there is no santa Claus, because Santa gives them hope.

Kids find that out soon enough on their own. If someone chooses to believe in Santa as an adult, well, they'd probably end up like Will Ferrell in Elf, but they'd be harmless.

With Christianity, you need to remember, if you have a problem with the religion don't take it out on the entire populace, take it out on those followers who use the religion to try to tell others what they should/should not do. Granted, eman here speaks in absolutes and basically demands us all to see his way, but he's harmless.
The abortion clinic bombers, gay bashing idiots, God wanted me to be president, "give me your money God needs it more than you" type people are the ones that should be talked to.
If you walk away from the Bible/Jesus with hope and love, no harm can come of it. But, if you walk away with fear in your heart, well, in my mind that is where we get idiots like the ones mentioned above.

Maybe it's all the wars that been fought because of this fairy tale. Or perhaps it's all the unbridled control imposed on others who don't believe in the fairy tale in the form of politics. Religions only serve to divide, and by doing so, create unwanted strife throughout the world.
