Of course I've heard of Occam's Razor. (Hell, any uneducated wazoo that has seen "Contact" knows what Occam's Razor is, lol.) Logic shows me no proof some "supreme being" had any hand in any of it. Actually, a doctrine of inference dictates evidence be required. I see none.

What a load of horkey. Atheists don't want a godless world. They simply don't want others' beliefs foisted upon them. Sounds like a good idea. I don't want anyone's religion pushed upon me. This would be the only time I would go to war over religion. Even Jesus said to keep your religion to yourself and went on to further say that those who don't are sinful.

Sorry but, you're too close to this debate to do anyone any good. Of course you think you're being persecuted but, think of it from their point. Why should anyone's religion be compulsory to anyone other than the members of that faith.
While Jesus said to spread the word, when he spoke of the practise of worship, he was clear. It is a private issue and those that seek to make their worship public only did so for egotistical reasons.
All the atheists wants is a government that is non-Theistic. They could care less what you do for Lent or Easter or any other one of the numerous holi-days.
I think the only ones persecuted from all sides is atheists. Religious are actually offended if anyones believes different than they and even more offended if they express those opinions. No, theists are the persecutors nowadays (actually it's always been a theist of some type persecuting someone else). I mean look at you. You're first response to me was to first deny and persecute me becuase I am a Deist. A person you will never meet or talk to has beliefs different than yours and it still pisses you off to no end. You always amuse me. You have some of the most offkeyed comments, it's really quite surreal.
