Not if the scientist was observing at the moment when God created the tree. But since nobody has ever observed a tree springing into being from abject nothingness, your silly little notion of a God making a tree with 30 rings is pure conjecture. Why 30? Why not 900,000,000,000? Given the presumed age of the universe, that would be a tree to force some questions... To your specific and direct knowledge, did God ever create a tree with precisely 30 rings? Even assuming there is a God who made trees fully grown, you cannot know that they had rings. It would be akin to saying that God made Adam fully grown with an appropriate number of scars. Or that the rib he stole to craft Eve showed the signs of growth that normal adult human ribs show.

But most of all, you have just proven God does not exist. Do you have any idea how many people, both believers and questioners, have prayed that you would never, ever whip that stupid "30 rings in 30 seconds" nonsense again?
There is no such tree with that many rings. So it would not be a good example. The tree would have rings just as Adam would have a heart and lungs. Einstein loved the 30 ring 30 second analogy. Yet I have exceeded Einstein.

Did Adam's ribs have growth marks on them?

I would say yes. Just as a tree created by God would have rings. Now ask me if Adam had a navel?

You would say yes. That's good to know. Now, where are the bones to prove it? No fossil record, no Adam.

Silly goose. Many of us that don't celebrate Xmas volunteer to work for those that *do* celebrate the holiday. Widen your thinking.

Xmas Day's predictable 911 calls:
(You can set your clock by 'em)

06:00-07:00 It's dead.
07:00-11:00 The overnight burglary (homes/cars) calls start pouring in.
11:00-14:00 The fire department starts getting dispatched for kitchen fires.
14:00-16:00 A few early drunk calls.
16:00-20:00 The early domestic battery calls start.
20:00-06:00 Domestics, robberies, violation of restraining orders, more drunks, neighbor problems...you get the drift.

I like working holidays. We see some pretty funny shit on holidays. (Well, WE think it's funny.)

Logic is the bones. Science is the fossil record. God MUST exist for the universe to exist. Evolution theory expanded to cosmology, quantum mechanics and the Big Bang is useless. Keep it in the mud where it belongs.
