Like Alabama's own Judge Roy Moore's use of such passages in an State Supreme Court ruling against a gay mother, I'd respect him more if he were sanctifying with blood on the Courthouse steps - at least he'd be consistent, and not just parsing the texts for the parts he needs to promote his hatred.

Well, yes...that is very troubling. Eman is just a lousy musician, posting on a message board.

These others should be removed from any position of authority, if their own personal religious beliefs keep them from doing their jobs properly.

I think your examples are part of the reason for the way many people attack the religious.

When Dubyah was re selected (more about those voting machines, than the religious right), they credited the religious in the country.

That led to the rift between those who think religion is a personal matter, and those who think it should affect national policy.

There are way too many good aspects of all religions, to dismiss those that are followers. The problem will always lie in the way self proclaimed leaders choose to deliver the message.

No I don't think so either but your posts are very self-righteous, poorly thought/written and child-like.

I agree 100%. My problem with The Bible is people use it as a weapon. After all, if it were really divine, wouldn't it be perfection? Are we really an abomination if we eat pork, seafood, rabbit? Should people really be stoned for adultery? If you believe it's divine, aren't you compelled to follow ALL of it! I think if God were going to speak to us in such a sublime way, it would be perfect, and He would include some conduct on WMDs.

E-man - read a book every now and then:

Well why wouldn't I be childlike if I am a child of God? It is the narcissistic self worshipping adults solipsisting themselves that God abhors.

I AM. But I am also fallen and incapable of acting perfectly as Jesus did to save me.

Child-like in the sense an 8 year old child wrote instead of an adult. Child-like in the sense it's immature, unintelligent and illogical.

Well it sure does seem to get the mud worshippers here's attention. It appears that whereever I go in whatever forum I seem to have something to offer becaue they DO come. That would refute your jealous notion.
