We are already fighting wwIII. And it dosen't need to go nuclear. But it's just beginning, Iraq/Afghanistan is just the first front. I don't think that this war we be a global nukefest. However, it very well could end that way. See, this war is really just the first battle in the Muslims vs. Everyone Else war. I believe this war will end with the ultimate goal of all muslims-the destruction or attempted destruction of Israel. And I think that the type of warfare described in the book of Revalation is probably nuclear war, with the aggressors getting in the first blow and taking over half of Israel's population with it(according to John) then Israels' retaliatory strike is brutal, and pretty much destroys the armies of the rest of the planet. Who knows how far off all that is, but the world is certainly getting staged for a big showdown in the middle east right now.

The reality of our situation is this; horrible shit is happening everywhere. Horrible shit that could easily be stopped if we all take a long look at our neighbors and ourselves and see that we are all part of the human race. We are humans falling into inhumanity. God might help some people better themselves, but until we all learn to be better humans for humanity's sake, things will continue to go downhill.
That made me think of one saying. "God helps those who help themselves". People need to think long and hard about that one. If there is a God, why would he help those who can help themselves and not those who are ill and can't take care of themselves?

I would have responded to the message but it is a comment to my profile and not a PM and I did not see a reply button.
Love your Happy New Year. You too. Stay safe from the drunks on the road.

That's not in The Bible at all btw. Something I found pretty interesting, since it was a phrase and a concept I heard A LOT growing up.

Question: "God helps those who help themselves - is it in the Bible?"

Answer: "God helps those who help themselves" is probably the most often quoted phrase that is not found in the Bible. This is actually a quote from Ben Franklin and it appeared in Poor Richard's Almanac in 1757. In fact the Bible teaches the opposite. God helps the helpless! Isaiah 25:4 declares, "For You have been a defense for the helpless, a defense for the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat..." Romans 5:6 tells us, "For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly."

I know it's not in the Bible, but it is used all the time by preacher, ministers as well as others. It was just a point I was making. You going to have a big party for New Years?
