No, you unbelievable idiot. The offspring of two horses can. The offspring of two asses can. But the offspring of a HORSE AND an ASS cannot. Not with a horse. Not with an ass. Not even with another mule. All mules are sterile.

$5000 bucks for that one.

I understand. Should I write it slowly for you. The point is that a horse and an ass can procreate so they are of the same species. Any entity that can procreate is of the same species. God's species procreation barrier is absolute.

Maybe you should read more slowly... If they are the same species then there is no reason why their offspring should invariably be sterile.

Didja know that in biology, the term "mule" refers to an organism that is genetically distinct from its parent(s) and is unable to reproduce?

Sterility does not speak to the issue of procreativity. We are talking past each other.

Procreativity requires fertility.

The horse and the ass DO procreate. So they are of the same species.

their offspring cannot procreate because they are not of the same species. A horse and an ass can cross-breed, but not entirely successfully. the offspring of such a pairing is always sterile.

Put into terms you can fail to understand, a horse and a mule cannot procreate. Nor can an ass and a mule. Does this mean that mules are not the same species as either of their parents? You bet it does. Then again, mules cannot procreate with mules either... Maybe mules aren't the same species as mules.

the offspring of the horse and the ass is the end of the line. No being fruitful and multiplying for the child of a horse and an ass.

I'm going to assume this is another of those topics you purposely fail to grasp because to do so would call into question some fairy tale or another you're still clinging to from childhood.

Who cares about their offspring? You are using that as some kind of crutch. You are really grasping at straws in a feeble and desperate attempt to establish one exception to God's "each unto its kind." Your attempt is so completely pathetic as to be totally embarassing. Yet you continue to beat that ass.

If their offspring was only sterile as often as occurs in the general population for horses and asses, it would mean nothing. The FACT that the offspring of a horse and an ass is INVARIABLY sterile proves that they are the result of cross-breeding that is partailly successful.
