You ignore negative sense then. There is sense in less than zero. So lets review. Why would one use illogical blind faith. God will save you if you jump off that cliff. Trust your blind faith. Eman would think that the rational mind would realize that such faith is stupid in the face of science and logic. So there is nothing wrong with allowing logic and science to inform your faith.

Well, then, by your own definition, your science and logic cannot exist.

The idea that man might have evolved without God or even that God used evolution to craft man conflicts with his belief that he's special because God made him out of dirt. In other words, he like to use science when it appears to support what he already wants to believe (or when he can twist it so that it seemss so), but ignores science as being patently incorrect when it screws up the happy ending of his fairy tale.

The idea that man evolved from pond scum or was created from dirt, either way, man's pretty fucking special. Ask pond scum. Ask dirt. Man likes to use anything and everything when it appears to support what he already believes OR DESIRES, and will ignore anything and everything that screws up the happy ending of a fairy tale. Hence, the quip about not confusing a theory with facts.
