Nonsense.

The idea that man evolved from pond scum or was created from dirt, either way, man's pretty fucking special. Ask pond scum. Ask dirt.

Man likes to use anything and everything when it appears to support what he already believes OR DESIRES, and will ignore anything and everything that screws up the happy ending of a fairy tale.

Hence, the quip about not confusing a theory with facts.
