Well, I know many Muslims and a few of them are scholars. It turns out, the dogma is not that the world will be a Muslim world but that the world will be transformed into a sinless world but only by Allah. Specifically I believe the Quran states that the World will one day follow Islamic ideals but it's not clear whether Sharia will be brought to bear. Many believe it will but the majority it would seem does not.

i would disagree. these are the ones who get in the media. the media is sensationalistic. leaders have politicized Islam. i would be very interested to see how many common people agree with slaughtering Christians and Jews

the muslims i know are unbelievably moderate. i was really surprised. i had based my knowledge previously on the crap i saw in the media. foolish mistake. they have never once tried to convert me. they answered the question i asked, and didnt add anything. they fully respected my Christianity

But Islam the notion of following Islamic ideals is misleading. If someone is a good and observant Christian or Jew they're considered to have submitted to god's will [the definition of Islam and Muslim]. That's actually a better story than Revelations.
