Board Resident Chstians & Atheists: Same Question To Both of You

Why strive so hard to convince us of your view? I mean what happens if you convince no one in life of the paradigm you think prevails in the unverse? What's the deal with trying so hard?

All this bickering between Christians and Atheists just puts me of from this whole forum.

GREAT question!

Why I bring MHOs to here is this:
religion has proven itself, to me,
to be a root of a whole bunch of preventable problems.

It appears to be, very much, adult-behavior to prevent preventable problems.

Therefore, I seek to either get the religious people
to go to school UNTIL they get straight "A"s in Math and Science

AND explain every single layer of the Grand Canyon

or answer ALL my questions and convince me
that I should join them in their thoughts.

Considering the abysmal record of religious people,
I find my efforts to be very necessary.

Where there are no people,
there is no religion.

With E-man for instance. He goes off on his whole Jesus is the way shpiel but just comes across as pissed off and authoritarian. How's that suppose to convince me? And the atheists here aren't any better. Back on the old boards we had one or two Msulims and they were never so pushy. A little infelxible and- in the case of some specific believs [no pictures allowed] a wee irrational, but at least they didn't seem ever-irate about it.

The problem lies when people from either side of the argument try to tell you that they are absolutely right. I don't know if I am right, but I do know that whoever thinks they are right when it comes to religion, is wrong.

This is because Muslims think that the most radical of their's is correct but that it won't happen in their life-time.

They think that we are lesser beings and
do not waste time trying to convice us.
They speak gently to us as if we are pets.

So, if one loves a religion, that is wrong
and
if one hates all religion, that is wrong?

Outside of all this,
we still have the hideous behavior
of religious people

So I take it you don't know any Muslims. Most Muslims are rather moderate and passive. The whole submission to god bit means that you don't go kicking ass just because god didn't do it for you.
