Well, we don't know they were written at the same time. We don't know when half of the OT is written but, you do have a good point. I have always been partial to the Book of Enoch. Enoch was kept out supposedly because we weren't sure if it was being studied at the time of Jesus. However, the DSS prove that it was indeed studied. And that book alone sheds a whole new light on Jesus' story (and mission). I also like Jubilees and other Gnostic books.
Which just points to the fact that there is no one true way. That there were many "Ways" being explored at this time. And leads one to conclude finally that among all the versions of scriptures out there, it must be analogies and aphorisms that have been taken way too literal 2000 years later.

Not. I have almost died twice so that is twice as much experience as you have. No fear for I know that in the twinking of an eye I will be resurrected. Yet I love the nectar of life right now and have NO desire to expire anytime soon or ever.
