What’s so special about the year 2012?

We entered the orb of influence of the Age of Aquarius in 1938, but since the constellations of Aquarius and Pisces overlap from our perspective, we have been operating under this dual influence since that time. In the year 2012 we will finally slip out from under the Piscean influence and be totally under the influence of Aquarius. This time is not an ending, nor is it a beginning, for the influence of the Age of Aquarius has already arrived – December of 1970.

The year 2012 is the final transition from the Pisces Age of Belief to the Aquarian Age of Knowledge, where "knowing for yourself from your own personal experience" will take precedence over "Believing" what we're told.

December 21, 2012 is the ending date on the Mayan Calendar. We will then come to the end of the Cycles of Darkness and move into the Cycles of Light. But instead of an ending, it is a time of great change. This will be a time when WE will learn to direct our own destiny. A time when “change” will be the accepted order of the day. That which does not change will be seen to be stagnate and less acceptable than that which does change repeatedly, or regularly, or continuously.

We stand on the thresh-hold of great changes for the nations and our way of life. Many will not be able to demonstrate such flexibility during the coming upheavals and changes in our climate that I feel are quickly approaching. Those who hear the call and prepare for the coming times ahead will make their journey more easily than will the rest. In 100 years our present way of life will be only a bad dream.

Consciousness is rising and we are moving into

* a new way of living: in harmony with Mother Nature, reducing, reusing and recycling.
* a new way of thinking: in harmony with our brothers and sisters, caring about others as we would our own family.
* a new way of feeling: in harmony with the guidance system of our greater intentions for this life, letting our feelings be our guide and always wanting to feeling good!

It's really quite exciting!

Most of those who are born at this time came here deliberately to help with this transition. Though there are many who will not expose themselves to thoughts conducive to it. If you’re reading this, then you must be among those who want to know more.

Note: The original Carmina Gadelica was a collection of Celtic folk prayers, charms, rituals, and omens. They were collected in the late 1800's in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland by folklorist Alexander Carmichael and published in a six-volume set. Carmichael himself admits that many of these are Pagan in origin with only a thin Christian overlay. I have merely tried to restore them to something akin to their original charm, mystery and beauty.

BERN, Switzerland (Aug. 27) - A woman beheaded after she was accused of causing a girl to spit pins and convulse was exonerated Wednesday, more than 200 years after she became the last person executed as a witch in Europe.

The decision to clear Anna Goeldi's name came after long debate in the eastern Swiss state of Glarus, and was taken in consultation with the Protestant and Roman Catholic churches.
Several thousand people, mainly women, were executed for witchcraft between the 14th and 18th centuries in Switzerland and elsewhere in Europe. Yet Goeldi's trial and beheading in the village of Mollis took place at a time when witch trials had largely disappeared from the continent.

Goeldi, who was executed in 1782, was a maidservant in the house of prominent burgher Johann Jakob Tschudi. Tschudi, a doctor and magistrate, allegedly had an affair with Goeldi, according to a book published last year by local journalist Walter Hauser.
Last year, the canton's executive branch and the Protestant Church council both rejected considering an exoneration. The government said then it saw no need to make a "celebratory apology for injustice 225 years ago."

The Glarus government has said that the Protestant Church council, which conducted the trial, had no legal authority to do so and had decided in advance that Goeldi was guilty. She was executed even though the law at the time did not impose the death penalty for nonlethal poisoning.

Goeldi's execution was even more incomprehensible as it happened in the Age of Enlightenment when "those who made the judgment regarded themselves as educated people," the government said.
"In spite of that they tortured an innocent person and had her executed, although it was known to them that the alleged crime was neither doable nor possible and that there was no legal basis for their verdict."

The exoneration also was an acknowledgment that an unknown number of other innocent people whose cases cannot be reviewed had been killed over the centuries. The Glarus government did not assume any responsibility, however, for past wrongdoings.
The Glarus government said in June it would contribute $118,000 to an upcoming theater play on Goeldi as "additional sign" of her rehabilitation. A museum on Goeldi was opened in Mollis last year on the 225th anniversary of her death.

Yes. I personally never believed that there was some sort of "royal" lineage, unless you count inbreeding as extraordinary. It does produce some ruthless people, who deem themselves "special" by running roughshod allover their fellow humans.

The French made a point of that with their Revolution, now didn't they!?!
