"It is estimated that up to 50% of all fertilized eggs die and are lost (aborted) spontaneously, usually before the woman knows she is pregnant. Among known pregnancies, the rate of miscarriage is approximately 10% and usually occurs between the 7th and 12th weeks of pregnancy." -from MedlinePlus

Definitely feeling like the America I believed in is being attacked from evil within. [insert Alien chest-burst scene here]
Right, gotta watch that shit. You get attacked for that shit from all sides. Only the true masters of Quill-Fu could pull it off and survive. :P Quote:

Wouldn't that be a twist for the anti-reproductive rights crowd to deal with.

What is the real problem with abortion? If you cite religious text, clearly banning abortion through the state is unconstitutional.
Do you think a spirit is placed into a first-trimester embryo, and if the pregnancy is aborted, the spirit is somehow penalized? Isn't it more likely the spirit would simply be placed in another embryo? A first-trimester embryo is not a person. It cannot think. It cannot feel. It cannot do much but sit in mush, waiting for further development - like a plant. |

I put this thread in religion because how a person views when a clump of cells becomes a human being is usually aligned with ones religious orientation.
