I am for a woman's right to choose....then when a woman I know gets pregnant....I make sure she knows all the alternatives before making that final choice. It is up to them but....I don't want them to regret any decision they make.

What is the real problem with abortion? If you cite religious text, clearly banning abortion through the state is unconstitutional.

Do you think a spirit is placed into a first-trimester embryo, and if the pregnancy is aborted, the spirit is somehow penalized? Isn't it more likely the spirit would simply be placed in another embryo?

A first-trimester embryo is not a person. It cannot think. It cannot feel. It cannot do much but sit in mush, waiting for further development - like a plant.
