There are minute chemical and electromagnetic alterations that accompany these stages of consciousness, and certain physical changes within the body itself in hormone production and pineal activity."

At any rate, I shall be doing research on sleep patterns of humans soon.

Sleep patterns is fascinating!

MORE SLEEP is my vote!

There is a book called
"Chakras" by Johari.
It is primitive meandering but has some merit.
You may like it.

Borders has in large paperback I think

Not intentional.

Just questions.

I love typing/talking about food.

I really don't have time to be here.

THis is pure indulgence so I tend toward brevity.

A question is not an attack.
If you are 49, I am not your age..I'm soon to be 57. I may look your age though, due to the fact I eat plenty of good fats and dark chocolate

Try rubbing the chocolate on one of your elbows!

I've been seeing if I can lick my elbows, but it just isn't as easy as it sounds.

It is banned, but not for the reason you think!

yes, and the humble multivitamin is #1.

Supplements in general do not replace food.
Use caution - read labels - do research.

MSM for joints is ACES!

That stuff was tested on dogs and horses so there was no placebo affect.
They are several generations out in the recipe now.
Flex-a-min is my favorite.
It takes six months to start working.
You really need to think of taking it long-term.
It is good to start that stuff early.

it can give gas ( !!! )

so it is good to take it before bed ( so the affect is limited to the monring )
I haven't got a cure for that particular gas yet.
...perhaps Vitamin "C"
Good advice! I hope we never see George Jetson food. I love good food and try to get as many nutrients from real food as possible. I want to spend more time eating, not less! I do take a daily vitamin and a few others. I'm trying out the MSM, but it has only been a couple weeks. I'll stick it out. I'm only 50, but with many years of extreme physical activity, Marines and extreme sports, I have my share of joint pain.

As to the side effect mentioned above, I have not noticed a any change. As my granfather used to say: A fartin' horse will never tire and a fartin' man 's the man to hire!
