You've got it backwards, Ginger. We created God in OUR image. That's why all the gods man has ever worshipped, including the islamo-judeo-christian one, always seem as small-minded and petty as any normal human being, just more powerful. That's always been my biggest gripe with religions. They never depict God as being any better than men, just bigger.

The limitations of the scientific method do not obviate the existence. It is the limitation of man's scientific method. Eman has improved upon the established scientific method to show the existence of God. God cannot be replicated in man's laboratory.

God, as described in the Bible, does not seem any better than me. Just more powerful. God, as described in the Bible is petty. He insecure. He is judgemental of people that he CHOSE to craft in a flawed state just to punish two individuals that were faced with a choice that they lacked the life experience to understand.

It's not about self-worship. It's because I see nothing to worship about myself that I also see nothiong to worship about somebody who isn't any better than me, just stronger.

I have to add a PS: I had to have lasic eye surgery on both my eyes, because of severe cataracts that rendered me blind. I'm not old enough for such a thing to happen. My eye doctor said it was because of sun damage and pollution, why people's eyes are going bad sooner than is considered "normal".

Just thought I'd mention that.
