Yeah, when W declared a state of emergency, I turned to the SubDude and laughed, "Why not just declare a state of redundancy?" And naturally, under a delcared state of emergency, the president can call for martial law and suspend the Bill of Rights at any moment and for any reason. Or for no reason.
